Essential Responsibilities:

  • Comprehend drawings to prepare layouts including selecting materials, planning sequences and methods of work, and measuring and marking materials to avoid costly mistakes or omissions
  • Understand concrete forming and engineered forming systems to accurately build concrete forms
  • Skilled with traditional and engineered forming systems
  • Check completed units to be sure they are level, square, plumb, and the right size, shape, and location
  • Complete tasks safely, efficiently, and within project deadlines, following Ledcors high standards for safety and quality

Requirements:

  • Journeyperson Carpenter ticket from a recognized provincial training authority
  • Non-ticketed carpenters must provide proof of commercial or industrial related experience
  • Apprentice Carpenters (levels 2-4) must be registered with a provincial training authority
  • Must successfully complete pre-access drug and alcohol testing
  • Project online orientations must be completed

Work Conditions:

  • Project to commence in August 2025
  • Work schedule: 5 days on, and 2 days off plus statutory holidays off
  • Extended health benefits provided by CLAC
  • This is a local positioncandidates must reside in the Greater Edmonton area. No camp accommodations or travel allowances provided
