We are looking for a skilled Building Engineer to join our team and help keep our property running smoothly.

This position is at Carillon Properties, the parent company of The Woodmark Hotel & Still Spa.

About the Role:

As a Building Engineer , you will be responsible for are to diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various electrical, HVAC, fire alarm/sprinkler, lift stations, and plumbing systems in a Class A Property. If you enjoy troubleshooting and working in a hands-on environment, this is a great opportunity to apply your expertise!

Key Responsibilities:

• The ability to operate in a professional manner and always represent the Property in an appropriate manner conducive to a Class A property
• Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with electrical systems
• Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with plumbing systems
• Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the HVAC controls system
• Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the buildings sprinkler system
• Diagnose, trouble shoot, and solve problems with the lift station
• The ability to actively communicate issues to multiple Department Heads and Managers to meet the needs of the property

What We're Looking For:

• Experience: 5+ years in building maintenance, facilities operations, or a related field.
• Certifications (Preferred): Electrical Safety Training, Refrigeration Operator Certification, Boiler Operator Certification, Forklift Safety Training Card (preferred), CPR & Basic First-Aid Certification (preferred)
• Technical Skills: Knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems.
• Problem-Solving: Ability to diagnose and resolve building system issues.
• Team Player: Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Flexibility: Willingness to be on-call for emergencies as needed.
• Computer Skills: Basic, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
