The Opportunity

TEKsystems is hiring skilled Cable Technicians to support our clients high-profile projects throughout the Nashville area. You'll help install cable pathways and infrastructure across commercial buildings, working directly with customers to deliver excellent service while growing within a company that values training and career advancement.

Your Day-to-Day

+ Install low voltage cabling for voice, data, and CCTV systems

+ Build cable pathways and pull cable throughout large commercial sites

+ Mount and terminate jacks and hardware with accuracy and pride

+ Engage with clients professionally while working in the field

+ Follow safety guidelines with proper PPE on active construction sites

What You Bring

+ Minimum 6 months experience in low voltage or electrical installation

+ Familiarity with Cat6, punch down tools, voice/data systems, and CCTV equipment

+ Basic low voltage tools and personal protective equipment (PPE)

+ Reliable attendance and strong teamwork mentality

+ Desire to learn, grow, and excel in a fast-paced environment

Bonus Skills

+ Exposure to access control systems

+ Strong communication and attention to detail

+ Passion for delivering quality work

Work Environment

+ Active construction sites throughout Nashville

+ Casual but safe: Jeans, steel-toed boots, and full PPE required

+ Standard weekday hours; limited travel may be required

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $30.00/hr.
