Construction Mechanics Inc. is hiring experienced Tile Setters for a project in the West Palm Beach area. This is a great opportunity for skilled professionals to work on high-quality commercial and residential tile installation projects. The ideal candidates will have experience with flooring, wall tiles, cutting, grouting, and waterproofing, while ensuring precision and quality craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and applying adhesives or mortarCut, shape, and lay tiles with precision using hand and power toolsInstall various types of tile, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and stoneApply grout and seal tile installations for a polished finishFollow blueprints, layout plans, and job specificationsEnsure all work meets industry standards and project requirementsWork efficiently while maintaining a clean and organized workspace
Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of tile setting experience in commercial or residential projectsStrong knowledge of tile installation techniques, grouting, and waterproofingAbility to read and follow blueprints and layout instructionsMust have reliable transportation and basic hand toolsAbility to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environmentStrong attention to detail and quality craftsmanship
Compensation & Benefits:
