Job Title: Senior Superintendent (Multifamily)

The Senior Superintendent is responsible for overseeing all field operations on large-scale apartment projects, ensuring quality, safety, schedule, and budget expectations are met. This position requires strong communication, deep construction knowledge, and the ability to lead teams and subcontractors from groundbreaking through final turnover.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead on-site construction activities for ground-up multifamily projects

Manage project schedule, logistics, quality control, and site safety

Coordinate daily with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors

Oversee and mentor assistant superintendents and field staff

Ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and building codes

Proactively identify and resolve field issues to maintain momentum

Conduct regular site meetings and progress walkthroughs

Maintain a clean, organized, and OSHA-compliant jobsite

Qualifications:

8+ years of field supervision experience, with at least 3+ years leading multifamily/apartment projects

Proven success managing large-scale, ground-up residential projects

Strong knowledge of wood frame, MEP systems, sitework, and finish sequencing

Ability to lead subcontractors with accountability and respect

Excellent communication, organization, and leadership skills
