Project Administrator Location: Onsite: 30 S Pearl St, Albany, NY 12207 Duration: 12 months contract with possibility of extension Shift timing: Monday- Friday: 1st Shift (7.5 hour paid work day with .5 hour unpaid lunch) Pay Rate: $26.78/hr on W2 JOB ID- CWP - 1243 Project Overview: This role will support the Capital and NR O&M work for canals which is growing and the objective is to provide support to align these projects to Governance. This position will be based in Albany. Canals has received another $50M in State budget funds that needs to be appropriated in the next 18 months. Job Functions & Responsibilities: Prepares request for new projects, business cases, prepares project plans, risk registers, project justification memos, contractor award memos, purchase requisition worksheets, scopes of work and other administrative documents at direction of Project Engineers Prepares purchase requisition worksheets and collects accounting information to prepare for new contracts Attends scheduling meetings, updates project costs on Excel worksheet based on updates to project schedule, updates UOPP and verifies budgets are consistent Forecast and verify project budgets and stakeholder resources. Update regularly in UOPP. Prepares award memos and change orders memos in order to authorize additional contract funding where required Tracks monthly invoices and prepares accruals where invoices are lagging behind Reviews consultant monthly reports, meeting minutes, and agenda and verifies completeness Coordinate internal stakeholder review of major deliverables throughout project development. Maintain comment logs documenting reviews through Bluebeam and Procore. Coordinate follow-up items to ensure comments are addressed and properly closed out. Skills: Proficiency with MS Word including cross-referencing, indexing and other functions. Proficiency with Procore and Bluebeam, MS Excel, able to use SUMIFS, COUNTIFS, develop Pivot Tables, and prepare high quality charts Able to understand and communicate technical engineering information clearly in written correspondence /Desired Skills: Desired - Proficiency with, or ability to utilize, project and construction management software such as Procore, or equal. Working knowledge of SAP and ability to use a purchase order system for tracking costs is a plus. Education & Certifications: Associate or bachelor degree or equal or comparable years experience.
