Job Description The Chief Engineer will serve as the company's technical expert, responsible for overseeing the installation of new equipment and conducting quarterly preventative maintenance inspections at all plant locations. This role is highly autonomous and does not include direct reports but requires strong leadership in project supervision and technical execution. This position is not behind a desk-our Chief Engineer must be willing to get their hands dirty when necessary to ensure smooth operations. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and maintenance, overseeing electrical circuitry, PLC systems, boilers, steam systems, compressors, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Manage and perform inspections to maintain compliance with state and federal permits. Directly engage in utility and mechanical troubleshooting, ensuring minimal downtime across all facilities. Compensation: $120,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
