GPS Dozer Operator

Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a GPS Dozer Operator in the Clermont, FL area.

Experienced GPS Dozer Operator responsible for operating heavy equipment equipped with GPS grade control systems to perform precise grading, excavation, and site preparation for road construction projects.

PAY: $26-$28/hour (based upon experience and equipment)
HOURS: 40+ hours/ week
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm
START DATE: Immediate
DURATION: 6+ months

Responsibilities:
Operate GPS-equipped bulldozers to perform fine grading and earthmoving according to design elevations and road alignments.
Read and interpret site plans, blueprints, and GPS data to ensure accurate cut-and-fill operations.
Construct roadbeds, shoulders, and embankments to required specifications and tolerances.
Adjust blade angles and slopes based on real-time GPS feedback to achieve precise grades.
Backfill, spread base material, and support paving crews as needed for road subgrade prep.
Monitor material types and compaction needs to ensure structural integrity of the roadway.

Qualifications:
4 years or more operating Dozer
Experience with civil/roadwork required
Site development and road work experience
Must be eligible to work in the United States
Must have reliable transportation to & from the job site
Position requires the use of PPE, including: Steel-Toe work boots, safety vest, hard hat, safety glasses, and gloves.
Pre-employment drug screen required
