HVAC Commercial Service Technician**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled HVAC Commercial Service Technician to install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, ensuring compliance with manufacturer specifications and company standards. This role involves designing, fabricating, and installing duct fittings and ducts, diagnosing and repairing refrigerant components, and conducting system inspections. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional customer service and guidance, working under minimal supervision while collaborating with team members for efficient project completion.
**Responsibilities**
+ Install HVAC systems, including furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, and humidifiers.
+ Install outdoor coils and outdoor units.
+ Design, fabricate, and install duct fittings and ducts as required.
+ Ensure all installations comply with manufacturer specifications and company standards.
+ Diagnose and repair refrigerants, TXV, compressors, and other HVAC components.
+ Perform start-up on air conditioning systems when needed.
+ Check electrical wiring, thermostats, and distribution systems for any issues.
+ Ensure all work adheres to laws, regulations, and safety standards.
+ Maintain accurate records of installations and services performed.
+ Conduct inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly.
+ Provide high-quality customer service and maintain a professional rapport with clients.
+ Guide and advise customers on selecting the most appropriate air quality systems.
+ Address client concerns and ensure customer satisfaction.
+ Work under minimum or no supervision.
+ Provide knowledge, training, and guidance to HVAC installer helpers.
+ Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient project completion.
**Essential Skills**
+ HVAC certification from an accredited program
+ Proficiency in HVAC troubleshooting and maintenance
+ Experience in electrical systems and blueprint reading
+ Ability to perform duct work and duct installation
+ Strong mechanical skills in commercial and industrial construction
+ Excellent customer service skills
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Certification in HVAC systems
+ Experience in HVAC refrigeration and mechanical systems
