Qualifications and responsibilities for this Production CAD Designer position include: 3-5 years of experience using SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or Inventor in a manufacturing environment Knowledge of sheet metal, welded assemblies, machined parts, plastic molded parts, and electrical drawings Ability to redraw detailed 2D/3D models for mechanical equipment using CAD tools Interpret existing drawings/specs to produce fabrication and submittal drawings Perform data entry to support ECN and prototype development in ERP systems Collaborate with engineers, designers, and shop staff to resolve design issues Create schematic and orthographic layouts for parts and assemblies Maintain accuracy, prioritize time-sensitive issues, and manage multiple projects independently Salary: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour, commensurate with experience.
