Position Overview
As the Facilities Operations Manager, you will lead the daily operations and maintenance of a large industrial facility. This includes managing a team of skilled maintenance technicians, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and ensuring the safe and efficient operation of all building systems. This is a hands-on leadership role that requires strong mechanical expertise and a proactive approach to facility management.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead all facility operations, ensuring optimal performance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
- Supervise and support the maintenance team, providing guidance and training
- Manage industrial maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to reduce equipment downtime
- Operate and maintain a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for work order and inventory tracking
- Perform regular facility inspections to address safety risks and repair needs
- Coordinate specialized repairs with outside contractors as needed
- Ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA standards and relevant safety regulations
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Oversee the upkeep of physical infrastructure, building systems, and site grounds
- 10+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in an industrial setting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience in electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and painting trades
- Proficient in using CMMS, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and BMS (Building Management System)
- Ability to read and troubleshoot high-voltage and complex systems using diagnostic tools (e.g., ohmmeters)
- Strong leadership and team communication skills
- Valid U.S. drivers license with at least 3 years of experience (subject to insurance carrier approval)
