Position Overview:

We're on the hunt for a Mechanical Engineer II to join our team of innovators! If you enjoy designing with a passion for bringing products to life, are organized, detail-oriented, and ready to take on exciting challenges in advanced development, this is the job for you.

What Youll Do:

Collaborate with team in brainstorm & design reviews.

Validate designs through DFMEA, strength, and fatigue analysis, followed by thorough testing.

Presents updates at project reviews on prototype readiness and issues

Able to analyze engineering CAD models for prototyping and testability.

Review data, evaluate product samples, and recommend design adjustments.

Support the transition of projects from the Innovation group over to the New Product Development group.

Collaborate with global engineering and manufacturing teams to resolve design and production challenges.

Participate in cross-functional meetings to align project scope, deliverables, and goals.

Requirements

Education:

Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering.

Experience:

3-5 years of design experience, preferably with consumer products.

Familiarity with manufacturing processes like plastics, sheet metal, casting, machining, and welding.

Prototype building experience is a strong plus.

Skills & Traits:

Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks required); familiarity with analysis tools is a plus.

Strong mechanical aptitude demonstrated through work experience or personal projects.

Ability to creatively solve problems and utilize resources to accomplish assignments

Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Ability to multi-task and effectively communicate in a fast-paced environment.

Willingness to travel internationally 24 times per year.
