Supervisor of Hydraulics team will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and system planners and manage day-to-day planning activities as well as long-term growth planning using modeling softwares such as Synergi Gas. The Supervisor will work closely with internal stakeholders like Commercial, Business Development and Pipeline Control.

**Job Profile Summary**

Lead a hydraulic optimization team that is responsible for modelling pipeline systems in Synergi Gas. The team evaluates and optimizes the daily operations of the ONEOKs premier midstream natural gas transportation asset base.

**Essential Functions and Responsibilities**

Perform and supervise others engaged in company engineering activities including but not limited to:

+ Hydraulic simulations of pipeline systems in Synergi Gas

+ Data analysis using AVEVA Pi Vision, Power BI, Spotfire, etc.

+ High level project scoping, and pipeline routing

+ SCADA, FlowCal, Quorum

+ Processing equipment evaluation in ProMax

+ Natural gas compressor selection

Research, analyze, prepare and/or approve information including but not limited to:

+ Pipeline and process systems design criteria

+ Natural gas facility equipment selection (compression, measurement, dehydration, filtration, etc.)

+ Material selection

Provide technical and engineering assistance to other departments, management, governmental and regulatory agencies, company attorneys, industry groups and others on matters related to projects and operations, policies, procedures, contracts, material selection, and governmental/regulatory rules, regulations and activities

Analyze and evaluate various pipeline systems and make recommendations for improvements related to capacity, operating costs, and system operation

Oversee utilization of manpower and equipment resources through assessing, scheduling and prioritizing projects based on customer need and value to the organization

Interact with direct and indirect reports, corporate personnel, regional personnel, and customers on issues including general engineering activities, employee issues, public and non-public projects and project scheduling

Monitor, review, develop and prepare information including but not limited to:

+ Benchmarking comparisons

+ Engineering analysis

+ Key performance indicators on pipeline system efficiency and utilization

Administer technical and professional training programs ensuring compliance with company and governmental requirement

**Education**

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a combination of formal education and the following job related experience preferred:

**Experience**

Experience in use and function of applications such as: Synergi Gas, ProMax, Microsoft Excel, Project, Access, Word, etc.

Experience researching, composing and preparing contracts, engineering studies, policies, procedures, reports and technical correspondence

Experience identifying, researching, evaluating and prioritizing problems and situations and providing appropriate actions, alternatives and/or recommendations

Experience reading and interpreting governmental regulations, codes, and standards, manuals, policies, procedures, contracts, specifications and various reports and correspondence

Experience with all phases of project management including scoping, estimating, specification, scheduling, contracting and procurement, construction, commissioning and startup, budgeting, financial analyses and regulatory compliance

Experience developing information and making presentations to groups and individuals
