WSP is currently initiating a search for an Aviation Assistant Project Manager to work out of our Orlando Airport, Florida Project office.

Our Aviation Technical Excellence Center provides engineering and planning services for airports facilities, terminals and supports WSP's projects around the world. The Aviation team works on multiple projects simultaneously, in close coordination with other technical departments.

Your Impact

- Strong Field Skills i.e. BHS, Coordination with Contractors and Stakeholders.
- Understanding of scope, schedule and budget.
- Participates in client development and relations activities including meetings, conferences and other industry events.
- Development of project scopes, budgets and schedules.
- Understanding and participating with technical aspects of contract negotiation, presentations and meetings.
- Maintenance of clear lines of communication and contractual relationship between Owner, Contractor, Staff and Design Team.
Who You Are
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, architecture, or relevant discipline recommended.
- At least 5+ years of experience in aviation, Owner's Representation, Construction, Management.
- Able to review contract documentation at all stages of the project.
- The ability to understanding AutoCAD/ construction drawings.
- Knowledge and experience with FAA advisory circulars and procedures.
- Strong airside and landside experience on large hub U.S. commercial airports.
- Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government, and public contracts on project-related matters.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; and the ability to clearly and effectively present complex information to all levels of employees, management, and clients.
- Valid driver's license, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.
- Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
- Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.
