The Electrical Safety Manager will lead our client's health and safety initiatives across all job sites. This role is responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing comprehensive safety programs to ensure full compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EM 385, and other relevant safety standards. The Safety Manager will drive a safety-first culture, conduct job site inspections, lead incident investigations, and provide hands-on training and leadership to field teams. This position is ideal for someone with a strong background in construction safetyespecially in the electrical tradewho is passionate about protecting people and promoting operational excellence. conditions that may lead to injury and/or property damage using safety standards and best management practices. RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure Job Site Safety: Maintain a strong on-site presence, conduct regular safety audits, lead inspections, and support field teams in identifying and mitigating hazards. Implement & Manage Safety Programs: Oversee the company's safety policies and Environmental, Safety, and Health (ESH) programs, ensuring compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EM 385, and other standards. Lead Training & Orientation: Conduct new hire orientations and ongoing safety training; educate employees on proper PPE use, safe electrical practices, and emergency procedures. Investigate Incidents: Lead investigations of accidents, near-misses, and safety violations; determine root causes and implement corrective actions. Promote Safety Culture: Engage employees at all levels to foster a proactive safety mindset through coaching, toolbox talks, and leadership by example. Monitor & Report Metrics: Track safety performance, maintain accurate documentation, and report safety data and trends to leadership weekly. QUALIFICATIONS High school diploma or GED required; degree in safety, engineering, or related field preferred. 5+ years of experience in commercial, industrial, or government construction safety management. OSHA 30-hour certification required; First Aid/CPR certification required. Familiarity with DOE 10 CFR Part 851 preferred; EM-385 or OSHA 500 certification a plus. Proficient in Microsoft Office and digital safety reporting platforms. Valid driver's license and ability to respond on-call as needed.
