DESCRIPTION / RESPONSIBILITIES:

Position reports to plants and includes duties throughout company assisting the Chief Electrician including but not limited to the following:

Maintain MUB equipment, buildings, and grounds in a clean and orderly manner

Maintain log sheets, books, spreadsheets, and other records

Have working knowledge of electrical prints and the interpretation of prints for the purpose of troubleshooting

Ensure continuous operation of all plant equipment. Interface with maintenance to ensure uninterrupted operation

Co-ordinate with operation of ongoing work to prevent interruptions in operation

Acquire, maintain, and improve upon knowledge of plant functions, operations, and maintenance

Possess and improve on knowledge of automated equipment controls

Possess and improve on an industrial electrical background

This position reports to the Chief Electrician

REQUIREMENTS:

A valid driver's license is required

Must hold a Journeyman electrical license

Must have working knowledge of industrial electric and process controls equipment

Must have greater than 5 years of experience in industrial electric

Experience with and working knowledge of processes used at the Morgantown Utility Board plants preferred

Must be available to work weekends and be on-call 24/7 when needed

Must be able to work unsupervised, set and achieve goals, work well with, motivate and support others

Must be able to work with the public and have good oral communications skills

Must have problem solving skills and be able to manage multiple tasks

Must be committed to workplace safety

Must be able to perform duties as otherwise assigned by the Dept Head
