Schedule : Monday-Friday Days (Occasional weekends based on business need)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Train technicians to understand risk mitigation and become problem solvers.
  • Educate how to self-perform common necessary repairs to equipment and/or CP systems.
  • Develop and mentor field personnel on proper execution of projects.
  • Evaluate job set up folders for proper scopes of work and test equipment before mobilization to job site.
  • Confirm personnel are well equipped, well trained and prepared to do the job.
  • Periodical audit personnel to determine their knowledge and ability to operate safely and effectively.
  • Provide technical advice and training regarding effective testing processes for various scopes of work including but not limited to:
    • Rectifier operation and troubleshooting
    • Pipe-to-soil potential measurements
    • Soil resistivity
    • ACIM pre-design testing
  • Accurately report status updates to the Project Managers on active job sites.
  • Act as field liaison between the customer in the field and the Project Management Team.
  • Ensure projects are executed are performed to client specifications.
  • Create and maintain an atmosphere of enthusiasm and cooperation with a customer focused attitude.
  • Participate in contractor safety meetings and incident investigations.
  • Conduct quality inspections after construction or field testing is completed and report findings.
  • Conduct and perform OQ training for qualified employees.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience with cathodic protection installation processes, specific technical knowledge of air field testing and specific equipment requirements.
  • NACE certification CP2 required.
  • Supervisory experience to include hiring, training & development, employee relations, workload management, leadership & guidance, reporting, performance management, compliance and safety.
  • Strong commitment to achieving zero accidents and citations.
  • Good communication skills and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with computer software (MS Office suite).
  • May be required to lift and pull up to 50 pounds and must be physically capable of performing manual tasks without restrictions.
  • Frequent stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching, and twisting required.
  • Ability to work in extreme weather conditions.
  • Time Management: Timely completion of projects.
  • Able to obtain and maintain operator qualifications.
  • Field position, required to drive/travel to project and client sites.Travel up to 75%. Overnight travel.
