👨🏭 What Youll Do:

• Perform expert-level maintenance and repairs on commercial heating and cooling systemseverything from centrifugal compressors and steam turbines to screw chillers.

• Install full mechanical systems (chillers, rooftop units, pumps, plumbing) and fine-tune drive components using laser alignment and vibration analysis tools.

• Be a trusted technical advisor to our customersoffer solutions, quotes, and insight to ensure maximum system efficiency and reliability.

• Collaborate with skilled journeymen and support apprentices, sharing knowledge and shaping the next generation of talent.

🔍 Who You Are:

• I am a skilled mechanic with 3-5+ years of commercial/industrial HVAC troubleshooting experience.

• Capable of working on pumps, fans, towers, chillers, boilers, compressors, and hydrocarbon/ammonia systems.

• Technically proficient in mechanical alignment and vibration diagnostics.

• Able to communicate clearly with customersexplaining the problem, root cause, and resolution.

• Motivated to continuously learn, mentor others, and be an ambassador for Johnson Controls values.

• Holds a Universal EPA refrigerants license, plus any applicable local/state licenses.

• Willing to travel 1020% as needed and join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices.

Hiring Compensation Range: Is determined by the Local UA. (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
