A Day in the Life of a Electrical Maintenance Supervisor
The Electrical Maintenance Supervisor works under the supervision of the Facilities Manager as part of the facilities management team. This position supervises the day-to-day electrical maintenance, repairs, and installations of electrical infrastructure ensuring adherence to safety standards and codes. This position participates in electrical systems maintenance, coordinates vendor services, and performs staff training and evaluation.

Here is What You Will Be Doing:
- Supervises daily maintenance operations for electrical systems and coordinates maintenance schedules with other departments.
- Troubleshoots electrical issues, implements corrective actions, and confirms timely repairs and updates to hospital's electrical systems fire alarm/safety systems.
- Works closely with the Facilities Leadership team on electrical system renovations/construction to include reviewing blueprints, schematics and electrical diagrams for upgrades and inspections.
- Trains, mentors, and supervises electrical and facilities maintenance staff on various electrical training, electrical safety, code compliance, and best practices, this can include other maintenance staff members as deemed appropriate.
- Provides coordination of medium-low voltage distribution system maintenance program; establishing schedules for regular inspection, testing and servicing of all systems to maintain reliability and code compliance.
- Ensures electrical and facilities maintenance staff adhere to hospital policies and protocols
- Manages scheduling and performance of electrical inspections according to safety standards and code requirements
- Maintains up-to-date maintenance records to include, work orders, preventative maintenance (PM's) in the Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS), Methods of Operations (MOPs) Emergency Operation Procedures (EOPs) for equipment, corrective maintenance records and other govermental/Joint commission required records.
- Directs and monitors projects performed with internal resources, vendors and contractors to include managing budgets with coordination of Facilities Leadership team.
- Oversees inventory management of electrical supplies and equipment.

Here is What You Need:
- Education (must meet all of one of the following):
- Bachelor's degree or higher and three (3) or more years of electrical service/maintenance experience
- Associate's degree and five (5) or more years of electrical service/maintenance experience
- High school diploma (or equivalent certificate from an accredited program) and seven (7) or more years of electrical service/maintenance experience
- License (must meet one of the following):
- Current Wyoming Journeyman Electrical License
- Current Wyoming Master Electrical License
- Valid USA driver's license
- Must have clean driving record that follows Cheyenne Regional Medical Center's driving guidelines
