Transportation Engineer 1 (TE1), District Traffic, PN 20056307
What You Will Do:
This position will be responsible for essential aspects of land use and infrastructure development, encompassing right-of-way permitting and utilization of ODOT's Access Management system for access permits and lot splits. Review of developer roadway improvement and drainage plans for compliance with ODOT specifications and Traffic Impact Study Requirements. Inspect permitted projects periodically to ensure they are following ODOT's standards. Additionally, this individual will assist our highway traffic signal and sign maintenance staff, contributing to the safe and efficient flow of our transportation network.

Bachelor's degree in engineering; Accepted for Basic Fundamentals of Engineering Examination (EIT exam) by Ohio Board of Registration for Professional Engineers & Surveyors.

All bargaining unit new hires must serve a one (1) year probationary period.
