The Survey Technician plays a vital role in supporting land surveying projects by assisting with fieldwork, data collection, and mapping tasks. Working under the guidance of licensed surveyors, the technician helps gather and process information used for boundary determinations, construction layouts, topographic maps, and other essential land-use documents.

Essential Functions and Duties:
Assist with field surveys using GPS, total stations, and other equipment
Collect and record accurate measurements and site data
Set up and break down instruments and maintain field gear
Support boundary, construction, and topographic survey projects
Keep detailed field notes and communicate findings to office staff
Follow safety protocols and ensure proper equipment care
Qualifications:
Experience with surveying or construction preferred
Familiarity with GPS and surveying instruments
Ability to read maps and interpret site plans
Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions
Strong attention to detail and basic math skills
Valid driver's license and clean driving record
Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening
