Our client in the local area is actively seeking to add an experienced Land Surveyor. The qualified candidate is a licensed land surveyor in the state of Montana.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct, prepare, review, and modify boundary surveys, construction staking projects, floodplain surveys, ALTA surveys, land subdivisions for a variety of clients (commercial, municipal and residential).
• Read and interpret construction plans and specifications
• Understand construction practices related to construction layout
• Understand state and local regulations regarding surveying
• Responsible for project schedules and completion of projects on deadline
• Effectively communicate information to staff, clients, and principals

Requirements:

• Professional Land Survey (PLS) License
• BA/BS degree
• Must have Valid Drivers License
• Proficiency with relevant software programs; AutoCAD Civil 3D, Trimble, GPS
• Approximately Four (4) or more years experience
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
