Welder

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Flat Welders for projects located in Tipton, IA . This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $24-27/hour based on experience and skill level. If you are a Welder eager to master your skills while working alongside our accomplished Craft Professionals, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• MIG welding using metal cored wire
• Cutting material using acetylene and/or plasma torch
• Drill, grind and fit parts per blueprints
• Forklift operation
• Moving materials

• Must be dependable and show up daily
• Minimum of 2 years experience in structural steel welding from blueprints
• D1.1 certification preferred
• Must pass a vertical and overhead tack test on 1/2 plate
• Must pass a 2G weld test on 1 plate and be certified within the first week
