Job#: 2083251 Job Description: Construction Project Coordinator - Job Description Onsite: The Dalles, OR The Project Coordinator serves as a key member of the project delivery team, acting as an extension of the client's internal project management function. This role is responsible for supporting the successful execution of capital projects by aligning stakeholders, maintaining project controls, and ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget. Key Responsibilities: Develop a deep understanding of project goals, constraints, and business objectives to support strategic decision-making. Facilitate communication and coordination among internal teams, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders. Support the implementation of best practices in design, construction, and operational transition to drive efficiency and quality. Assist in maintaining project-level schedule and cost controls by gathering data, enforcing policies, and troubleshooting issues in the field. Participate in executive-level briefings and support project-related decision-making processes. Review and validate project requirements, including functional, environmental, and quality standards. Monitor design deliverables and construction requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives. Collaborate with permitting authorities and support the permitting process in partnership with the project team. Identify and mitigate project risks through regular evaluation, documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Maintain key project management tools, including action item logs, milestone trackers, and procurement logs. Facilitate formal project reviews to ensure alignment with scope, budget, and schedule during all phases. Promote a strong safety culture by supporting field teams in implementing and auditing safety programs. Review contractor schedules and claims, providing recommendations and supporting negotiations as needed.
