Our experience covers the full breadth of renewable power generation technologies - from utility scale solar to battery storage, hydrogen, carbon capture and nuclear plant services.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cbr\u003eBurns \u0026 McDonnell is seeking to hire experienced Civil Engineers who will work on project teams to create world class renewable power generation designers for new projects, alterations and redevelopments on a variety of projects. The Staff Civil Engineer will work with the project team throughout the design and construction process, adapting civil plans according to budget constraints, design factors or client needs.\u003cbr\u003e \u003cul\u003e \u003cli\u003ePerform civil design of projects from the conceptual phase through design completion.\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eDesign civil components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers.\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eExtensive knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and the ability to perform mass grading using: road corridors, feature lines, surfaces, volume earthwork, etc.\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eApplies strong knowledge of commonly used civil engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the civil engineering services industry.\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eAbility to research local code guidelines and interpret information to create drawings and specifications to support permitting\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eResearch and compile project related data as required by the project managers. Compiles studies and reports. Writes specifications.\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eDesign construction drawing packages that include: site plans, grading plans, erosion control/stormwater management plans, and demolition plans.\u003c/li\u003e \u003cli\u003eLead stormwater modeling and BMP design.
