As a Facilities Electrical Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work directly with mission customers to valide the requirements and unique needs to provide reliable technical solutions.
With the ever-changing industry and increase of technology complexities to accommode our workforce, NSA's Installion & Logistics organizion needs motived Electrical Engineers to provide facilities design expertise, guidance, and support to the development and implemention of facilities solutions th enable capabilities th align with mission driven priorities.
Additionally, the Installions & Logistics organizion is seeking Electrical Engineers with a focus or specialty in control and monitoring of electrical systems. Candides with this specialty should be knowledgeable about or interested in learning about Supervisory Control and Da Acquisition (SCADA) and electrical control systems, electrical power systems, Schweitzer protective relays, Real-Time Automion Controllers (RTAC) as well as Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs). Knowledge of the protocols used by these devices including mirrored bits, Modbus, DNP, and SNMP is desired.
As an Electrical Engineer NSA, responsibilities may include:
- Prepare design and construction cost estimes.
- Development of designs for new and renoved facilities.
- Prepare engineering technical reports, specificions, and drawings.
- Provide construction detailing.
- Perform engineering analysis and calculions.
- Conduct code analysis.

If program is not ABET accredited, it must include specified coursework.* A degree in Engineering Technology will also be considered if it includes specified coursework.*
Relevant experience must be working in an electrical engineering capacity (for example, UPS, switchgear, SCADA, transformers, substions, power panels, switchboards, and metering of power).
