We are looking to add a Project Coordinator for our Stiles facility in Ceres, CA. This is a full time position and is 100% onsite.
What would you do as our Project Coordinator?
You will serve as the key liaison between our internal teams, distributors, architects, and customers ensuring exceptional customer support for the Stiles/Assa Abloy product lines.
You will also:
- Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs.
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers as needed.
- Coordinate distributor projects submittal, order writing and processing, production, shipping and after-sale communications.
- Perform Customer Service related activities including fielding phone calls and responding to customer emails.
- Interpret customer take-off information.
- Generate change orders to their projects. Changes based on how the project was originally quoted.
- Check shop drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, specification requirements and coordination of hardware, door and frames for functionality and label capabilities.
- Prepare detailed door listing from architectural plans and specs.
- Write customer orders for order processing.
- Prepare to enter orders as it pertains to project work.
- Consult with Engineering on special product information and labeling capabilities.
- Check shop drawings for accuracy, manufacturability, specification requirements and coordination of hardware, doors and frames for funtionality and label capabilities.
- Actively participate in providing a safe and harmonious working environment for all employees.
- Assures compliance with federal, state, local and corporate governance policies, regulations and laws, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
The skills and experience you need:
- High School Diploma
- BA degree in Business Management preferred
- Project management experience preferred in metal door openings industry and direct customer and contractor contact preferred.
- Ability to read, interpret and manage Architectural, Structural & Mechanical plans, specifications and hardware schedules.
- Excellent computer skills, with knowledge of Microsoft Suite, and AutoCAD software preferred.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and thorough attention to detail.
- Highly flexible to adjust daily work schedule to meet the critical operational needs of the day.
