We are seeking experienced and detail-oriented property inspectors to join our network of independent contractors. This position involves performing residential field inspections on behalf of mortgage lenders and insurance companies, providing critical updates on property conditions and occupancy.
Key Responsibilities
Perform exterior property inspections, with occasional interior access for secured or vacant properties and insurance loss inspections.
Determine occupancy status, document property condition, and deliver/post lender letters when required.
Use a mobile inspection app to upload photos, comments, and required documentation.
Maintain timely and professional communication with your inspection coordinator via text, email, or phone.
Manage and plan your inspection routes to ensure assignments are completed within 35 days of receipt.
Spend extended periods driving within your assigned territory.
Tools & Requirements
Valid U.S. drivers license
Aspen Grove ABC# (required)
Experience using at least one field inspection app (InspectorADE, EZ Inspections, or Safeguard/SafeView Inspect)
Computer with internet access
Smartphone (iPhone or Android)
Fuel-efficient vehicle
Printer and basic office supplies (paper, ink, envelopes)
Daylight availability for fieldwork
HUD key set and volt stick (preferred, but not mandatory)
Experience
Previous experience conducting mortgage occupancy or property inspections is highly preferred.
Must be comfortable working independently and traveling locally.
Compensation & Schedule
Paid bi weekly by direct deposit 15th and the 30th
Pay is based on a set rate per completed inspection, averaging $20$30+ per hour depending on territory and efficiency
Anticipated workload: 1040+ hours per week, varying by location and inspection volume
This is a 1099 independent contractor position, allowing flexibility in scheduling.
