Whats a typical day as a Structural Mechanic II? Youll be:
  • Performing Assembly: Safely assemble and fit detail parts, structures, and varied riveting operations
  • Utilizing Tools: Use riveting guns, pneumatic tools, and other equipment to shape, form, and install parts
  • Interpreting Plans: Read blueprints, sketches, and work orders to execute operations and ensure quality
  • Conducting Inspections: Ensure assemblies are defect-free and adhere to quality standards
  • Managing Records: Maintain logs and records, perform repairs, and follow up with production orders
  • Supporting Processes: Maintain a neat workspace, comply with safety regulations, and support 5S practices
Additional Functions:
  • Waste Management: Properly collect and dispose of industrial waste
  • Coordination: Communicate job-related information between shifts and coordinate with team leads
  • Equipment Assistance: Assist with shop equipment maintenance and support Lean initiatives
