Maintenance Supervisor Mobile Home Parks & Equipment Rentals

About the Role:
We manage mobile home parks, rental homes, and an equipment rental business. While we dont own the homes themselves, we are responsible for park infrastructure including underground water, sewer, and utility systems. Were looking for a reliable, experienced Maintenance Supervisor to handle maintenance operations, coordinate repairs, and assist with equipment transport and upkeep.

Key Responsibilities:

Mobile Home Park & Property Maintenance:
- Respond to and manage underground utility issues (water, sewer)
- Plumbing repairs, excavation, and utility line servicing
- Supervise outside contractors such as electricians or tree removal services
- Perform hands-on repairs as needed especially plumbing repairs to main water lines and sewer lines
- Handle emergency issues such as water leaks or sewer backups

Equipment Rental Support:
- Inspect and maintain rental equipment for readiness and safety
- Transport equipment and materials to and from job sites
- Load, secure, and haul trailers (must be confident driving with a loaded trailer)
- Perform basic checks and light mechanical work on equipment

Leadership & Reporting:
- Keep records of completed work and materials used
- Track inventory and coordinate supply restocking
- Communicate regularly with management regarding issues or needs
- Supervise helpers or coordinate subcontractors when necessary

Requirements:
- 2+ years of experience in maintenance, plumbing, or general construction
- Strong knowledge of water/sewer systems and underground utility work
- Must be able to drive a truck with a trailer and haul equipment safely
- Familiarity with basic tools and small equipment
- Experience supervising or coordinating with contractors
- Valid drivers license (CDL not required, but a plus)
- Ability to lift 50 lbs, work in various outdoor conditions, and respond to emergencies

Preferred/ but not required:
- Bilingual (English/Spanish)
- Experience with mobile home park infrastructure
- Basic mechanical skills for equipment troubleshooting

Schedule:
- MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
- Occasional weekend or after-hours calls for emergencies or equipment drop-offs
