Rackley Roofing is seeking a proactive Safety Manager to continue and grow our company's safety program. The Safety Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all employees are following safety procedures and regulations, identifying potential safety hazards, and developing and implementing safety programs to reduce the risk of accidents and injuries.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations and compliance requirements
- Develop and implement safety policies, procedures, and programs in compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies
- Conduct safety training for new hires and ongoing training for current employees to promote a safety-first culture
- Identify potential safety hazards and implement preventative measures to minimize the risk of accidents and injuries
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations
- Investigate and report all accidents and incidents, providing recommendations for corrective actions to prevent future incidents
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date safety records and reports
- Partner with project managers and supervisors to ensure that all safety requirements are being met on job sites
- Coordinate with external safety consultants and regulatory agencies as necessary
- Provide guidance and support to employees regarding safety-related concerns and issues
- Attend industry-related training and conferences to stay up-to-date on the latest safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to effectively train and educate employees on safety-related topics
Requirements
- 2+ years of roofing or construction safety experience
- OSHA 10 & 30 required (OSHA 500 preferred)
- Valid Driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to travel as needed to job sites
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to visit job sites, including climbing ladders and working at heights.
- Occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs, standing, walking, or bending for extended periods.
Work Environment:
- Mix of office and field environments. Frequent travel to job sites required.

MEASUREMENT OF PERFORMANCE
Must have a passion for building strong relationships and balancing corporate and employee needs. Attention to detail and processes while dealing with constantly changing rules and regulations. Strong leadership skills, problem solving and judgement will decrease risk for the company while increasing employee retention. Management of all claims will positively reflect the company's gross profit.
