Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Master Carpenter (Shop Technician) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-level woodworking tasks and overseeing shop operations. You'll work closely with a team topleteplex woodworking projects, from custom cabinetry to structural framing, while ensuring quality, precision, and efficiency. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead a team, support process improvements, and showcase your expertise in a fast-paced and rewarding environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Order Management: Oversee daily purchase orders and other requests, ensuring timely and high-qualitypletion.
Reading & Interpreting Customer Orders: Translateplex designs into physical structures with precise measurements and material requirements.
Advanced Carpentry Tasks: Perform custom woodworking tasks including cabinetry, furniture making, and structural framing.
Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and train journeyman carpenters and apprentices, fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
Quality Control: Maintain exceptional standards of workmanship, ensuring all projectsply with safety codes and specifications.
Problem-Solving: Address challenges during projects with innovative solutions to ensure successful projectpletion.
Required Skills:
Technical Proficiency: Expertise in advanced woodworking techniques and strong knowledge of industry safety standards.
Communication Skills: Effective verbal and writtenmunication skills to collaborate with team members, customers, and sales staff.
Leadership Abilities: Strong leadership skills to manage teams, delegate tasks, and create a positive, productive work environment.
Physical Fitness: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent;pletion of a formal apprenticeship program in carpentry is a plus.
Experience: 5-10 years of carpentry experience, with significant experience as a journeyman carpenter or apprentice.
Certification: OSHA safety certifications are highly preferred.

Pay Details: $33.00 to $35.00 per hour
