Prep Laborer**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Prep Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing parts for production, ensuring accuracy, and maintaining quality standards. This role involves working with various materials and requires an understanding of production processes.
**Responsibilities**
+ Remove casted parts from the shop and pull parts from bins.
+ Verify parts accuracy by reading work orders.
+ Fill bins per work order with designated parts.
+ Use a computer screen to select specific heat treatments per order.
+ Load parts onto the conveyor and dry parts by hanging or manually cleaning them.
+ Push carts to and from staging areas.
+ Prepare and mix powder and other coating materials.
+ Check pressures, adjust airflow, and ensure even drying temperatures.
+ Clean all paint parts after use, such as nozzles and guns.
+ Conduct quality checks on parts for defects.
**Essential Skills**
+ Strong attention to detail.
+ Ability to follow work orders and read blueprints.
+ Strong computer skills.
+ Mechanical assembly and manufacturing experience.
+ High school diploma.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Powder paint experience is nice to have.
+ Ability to mix multiple colors and understand high-mix, low-volume production.
+ Math ability to handle mixing and measurements.

The pay range for this position is $40185.60 - $40185.60/yr.
