Role
Position will serve as project support to the Implementation and Operations team serving the Desert Southwest District. support lead Project Manager on customer deployments, and/or serve as lead project manager on regional / nontraditional customer deployments

Responsibilities

  • Project manage one or more aspects of a customer deployment on multiple applications, and ensure projects are completed according to mutually agreed upon timeline of customer and Crown Castle and in accordance with Crown Castle policies and procedures
  • Project manage/support all facets of an application from entry into Crown Castle systems to construction complete and closeouts delivered, including, but not limited to, the following services: structural analysis, site acquisition, A&E services, land use planning, zoning, and permitting, lease management and construction management
  • Ensure District Manager/lead Project Manager (if applicable) and customers are aware of issues that will impact project completion or cost
  • Responsible for the management and coordination of team members in obtaining and maintaining all requisite documents related to said projects including, but not limited to, modification, collocation, and construction of Small Cell/Fiber Network Facilities towers (e.g., structural analysis, lease, title, applicable permits, soil samples, regulatory approvals or others as required)
  • Vendor management, where applicable
  • Responsible for forecasting Project Management Tool dates (e.g., initial forecast, updated forecast)
  • Participate in internal & external deployment meetings as directed by lead Project Manager, and interact with carrier representative as needed
  • Deal with design issues as they arise (limited lease entitlements, additional ground space needed, easements, etc.)
  • Communicate and coordinate with relevant functions and parties as needed
  • Utility coordination as needed
  • SOV/PO and Financial Tracking
  • Material Tracking and Support, as needed

Experience/Minimum Requirements

  • One (1) to three (3) years of project management experience
  • CAPM or PMP preferred

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience

Other Skills/Abilities

  • Knowledge of telecommunications/wireless project management, asset management, tower maintenance, and property management
  • Knowledge of site acquisition procedures, including regulatory and permitting process
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints along with and understanding of tower/roof top structural details
  • Ability to direct the diagnosis of workflow problems, critical paths and institute remedies
  • Ability to read and understand financial metrics and identify remedies to financial issues
  • Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Knowledge of construction services: telco, power, fiber, basic construction, vendor equipment requirements, towers, lines, and antennas
  • Ability to communicate across multiple service groups to both internal and external customers

Working Conditions:

This role falls into our hybrid work model working in your assigned office approximately 60% of the time (3 days per week) and where you do your best work 40% (2 days per week). Field travel may be needed.

Compensation

The pay range offered for this position is $32.98 - $45.34 per hour. A candidate’s offer is determined by various factors including but not limited to, depth of experience, role-related knowledge and skills, relevant education or training, internal alignment, and work location. Depending on the position offered, the compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of a discretionary annual cash bonus or commissions, and equity incentives. Employees (and their families) are eligible for medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to enroll in our company’s 401k plan. Employees will also receive a minimum of 18 days of paid time off each year and 12 paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
