CAD Technician – Commercial & Multifamily Construction

We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established construction firm seeking a skilled CAD Technician to support their commercial and multifamily projects. This is a great opportunity to join a collaborative team and contribute to high-impact developments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed construction drawings and site plans for commercial and multifamily projects

• Work closely with project managers, engineers, and architects to translate designs into technical documents

• Revise and update plans based on markups, redlines, or field changes

• Ensure all drawings meet applicable codes, standards, and project specifications

• Maintain organized drawing files and version control

Ideal Candidate:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD (Revit or Civil 3D a plus)

• Experience drafting for commercial, multifamily, or mixed-use construction

• Strong understanding of construction documents, site layouts, and building systems

• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills

• 2+ years of relevant CAD drafting experience preferred
