Industrial Painter**
**Job Description**
We are seeking an Industrial Painter with experience in sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 6 months of industrial painting experience or have recently completed a paint certification course. The ability to read both metric and standard tape measures is preferred.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform industrial painting tasks including sanding, priming, taping, finishing, and spraying.
+ Read and interpret tape measures in both metric and standard formats.
+ Operate electric hand grinders and overhead cranes.
+ Meet production standards and deadlines.
+ Perform sand/shot blasting as needed.
**Essential Skills**
+ 6 months of industrial painting experience or recently completed paint certification course.
+ Ability to read metric and standard tape measures.
+ Experience with HVLP, paint prep, spray, electrostatic, and blasting techniques.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with electric hand grinding and overhead crane operating.
+ Ability to meet production standards.
+ Experience in sand/shot blasting.

**Work Environment**
This position requires working in an industrial environment that is loud, dusty, and dirty, with exposure to rust, metal particles, and paint chemicals. You will spend 100% of your time on your feet on concrete floors and work platforms, and may need to climb step stools. The role involves working in various buildings alongside machinists, welders, assemblers, and forklift operators. The work schedule is Monday to Thursday, 3:30 pm to 2 am, with overtime on Fridays. Candidates must be flexible to work both 1st and 2nd shifts, with potential overtime extending work to 10 or 12-hour days.

**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $19.75 - $21.25/hr.
