We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows Server & Azure Infrastructure Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, excellent communication and client-handling abilities, and advanced technical skills in Windows Server environments, Active Directory, and Azure. This role involves handling complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring robust, secure, and reliable infrastructure operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level administration and support for Windows Server environments ( L4).
- Manage and maintain on-premises Active Directory infrastructure (L3.5).
- Configure and support Azure IaaS services and virtual machines ( L3).
- Lead incident, problem, and change management processes in accordance with ITIL practices ( L3).
- Use advanced troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark) for network traffic analysis ( L2.5).
- Develop and run PowerShell scripts for automation and system management ( L2.5).
- Monitor and optimize DNS, DHCP, and Windows Server performance metrics ( L2).
- Effectively handle client communication, demonstrating exceptional problem-solving and leadership skills (L4 L3).

- Leadership Skills (L3) : Ability to lead small teams or initiatives, mentor junior staff, and drive best practices.
- ITIL (Incident, Problem, Change Management) (L3) : Practical experience applying ITIL frameworks.
- Azure VMs (L3) : Hands-on experience managing Azure virtual machines.
- Network Traffic Analysis (L2.5) : Familiarity with Wireshark or equivalent tools.
- PowerShell (L2.5) : Scripting and automation skills.
- Azure IaaS and Basic Concepts (L2) : Understanding of core Azure infrastructure services.
- DNS and DHCP (L2) : Working knowledge of DNS and DHCP configurations and troubleshooting.
- Windows Server Metrics (L2) : Monitoring and analyzing server performance metrics.
Good to Have
- Experience with VMware ESX, VMware Director, NSX
- Familiarity with Azure Entra ID
- Knowledge of VMware on Azure
- RAID configuration and hardware troubleshooting for Windows Servers
- Exposure to Linux administration
- Understanding of Docker and Kubernetes
Preferred Experience & Education
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, VMware certifications, ITIL Foundation).
- 5+ years of relevant experience in Windows Server administration and Azure infrastructure.
