Aircraft Assembly Mechanic (Secret Clearance Required)

**Pay rate: $45/hour (per diem available for eligible candidates)**

**Shifts: 1st and 2nd**

**Duration: Open-ended long-term contract (with option to convert to direct hire)**

**Description:**

+ Seeking Assembly Mechanics that will be working in a role that requires an Active Secret Clearance.

+ Perform fabrication, change incorporation, assembly, and rework of sheet metal and/or composite components.

+ Work with blueprints, changes, specifications, and work orders to assemble and install structural components.

+ Setup and perform all manual and automated assembly operations required to accomplish assignments.

+ Move and/or obtain correct parts, materials, tools, assemblies, etc.

+ Use precision measuring instruments required to accomplish assignments.

+ Support the continuous flow of product within the manufacturing process by training, coaching, and assisting employees of all experience and classification levels.

+ Document any discrepancies according to specification, process, and procedure.

**Work Environment:**

+ Assembly Mechanics will be working in an aviation manufacturing environment that will be considered secret and only accessible to those with the proper credentials.

+ All tools are provided.

**Desirable Skills & Qualifications:**

+ Composite & Titanium Drilling

+ Composite & Sheet Metal Fabrication

+ Sealing seal parts and assemblies, fillet and fay seal, apply leveling compound or scotch cast, etc.

+ Precision Bench Assembly Assemble precision aircraft parts and assemblies such as landing gear

+ Sub-Assembly Assemble parts to make sub-assemblies using templates, jigs, and fixtures

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $45.00/hr.
