Electrical Maintenance Technician in Lexington, NC**
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform maintenance and repairs on all electrical equipment in the plant as assigned.
+ Install new electrical equipment as assigned.
+ Work on low voltage and medium voltage power distribution systems.
+ Use a variety of electronic test equipment in job performance.
+ Respond to all types of emergencies in the plant, except medical.
+ Maintain required logs, records, and perform scheduled preventive maintenance on all electrical equipment in the plant as designated by the preventive maintenance program and supervision.
+ Perform duties within normal industrial environmental conditions for maintenance.
+ Maintain a safe and clean work area, observing all plant and departmental safety rules.
+ Assist other maintenance crafts as required.
+ Perform other miscellaneous and related duties as assigned.
**Essential Skills**
+ Experience with industrial electrical systems and voltage levels.
+ Ability to troubleshoot PLCs.
+ Proficiency in using testing equipment, including digital and analog meters.
+ Ability to read blueprints.
+ Capable of performing work in elevated areas, such as ladders and lifts.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting, instrumentation, electrical systems, 480V 3-phase systems, voltmeters, wiring, controls, and troubleshooting.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ AAS degree or diploma in Electronics or a related field is a plus.
+ 2-3+ years of experience in relevant fields is required.
+ Ability to use hand and portable tools.
+ Capable of working in a team environment.

The pay range for this position is $28.74 - $31.61/hr.
