General Laborer Location : 59th ave/lower buckeye Shifts : Monday to Friday 1st- 5:00am to 1:00pm 2nd shift: 8:00am to 4:00pm 3rd shift: 1:00pm to 9:00pm Friday, Saturday, Sunday 1 shift 6:00am to 6:00pm (work 36 hours get paid for 40) Job Description As a General Laborer specializing in packing and shipping preparation, you will prepare extruded aluminum for shipment to clients by ensuring quality compliance and adherence to customer specifications. This role involves checking for quality defects, scrapping defective material, and using a cart to transfer materials. Responsibilities Work with large industrial equipment. Wear Personal Protective Equipment, including ear plugs, safety glasses, and boots, at all times. Comply with all policies and procedures in accordance with the quality management system. Review and follow work order instructions and best practice requirements. Adhere to and promote all safety requirements. Read and understand dimensional prints. Operate measuring tools effectively. Essential Skills High degree of independence and accountability. Good attendance is required. Detail-oriented individual able to frequently perform multiple tasks simultaneously. Ability to independently perform simple calculations. Effective communication and interaction skills. Working knowledge of extrusion press responsibilities. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to frequently walk, stand, bend, twist, and perform repetitive motions. Capability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds. Why Work Here?
