Mechanical Engineer (Secret clearance required)

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a permanent role supporting the US Army in Albany, Georgia. This is a fully on-site role.

• This position requires an active Secret clearance

Responsibilities of the Mechanical Engineer:

• Support infrastructure development and construction projects
• Perform technical assessments and analysis
• Recommend engineering solutions in support of facilities and weapons systems
• Ensure production goals are satisfied
• Work hands-on with heavy machinery

Requirements for the Mechanical Engineer:

• Bachelors degree in mechanical engineering or related field
• Active Secret clearance
• Proficiency in CAD software such as Solidworks, AutoCAD or other
• Strong knowledge in materials, thermodynamic, fluid mechanics, structural analysis
• Experience with mechanical testing and failure analysis on heavy machinery

Compensation for the Mechanical Engineer:

• Annual salary: $100,000-115,000, depending on experience
