The organization also provides technical and manufacturing expertise to ensure supplier capability, capacity and requirements understanding, enabling risk mitigation across the supply base. Mitigation Team, responsible for: Supporting teams in the development of program material strategies Developing and documenting the risks and opportunities introduced by sourcing decisions Maintain schedule of deliverable hardware by ensuring suppliers are clear on Engineering and manufacturing requirements Developing and documenting recommended risk mitigation / opportunity capture activities Leading program teams through the execution of the Sourcing Risk Filter on the program's Bill of Material to identify / prioritize risks and develop a Supplier Assessment / Engagement Plan Mitigating technical and performance risk by leading requirements understanding engagements with the supply base Developing should-cost analyses and technical evaluations to support procurement activity This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance. This position is an international 2 year assignment with a year extension. This position is located in Romania with additional compensation emoluments. This position will require the individual to support all selected suppliers daily and complete work responsibilities onsite. The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
