JOB DESCRIPTION
CTR Group is seeking an experienced MIG / TIG Welder & Fabricator in Williamsburg, VA, area to work in a Shop setting of a Government Facility.
Pay Range: $30.59 - $35.68 per Hour
SUMMARY:
Seeking a Welder very skilled in Mig and Tig Welding techniques. Emphasis is on Light Gauge Metal. Able to read blueprints. The Welder will be working in a machine shop setting, producing parts according to Government specifications. Several years of machine shop experience required.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school graduate or equivalent with training from accredited welding school. 2 years additional experience may be substituted for education requirement
Minimum 3 years of shop experience in welding steel and aluminum by various processes
Must be certifiable to MIL-STD-248 requirements
Must be Rapid Gate eligible
US citizenship required
Clean background required
Seeking someone who has experience in at least some of the following welding processes along with some fabrication experience.:
TIG Aluminum (GTAW) Structural (Aluminum a MUST)
TIG Stainless Steel (GTAW) Pipe
Flux Core Carbon Steel (FCAW) Structural
Stick Welding Carbon Steel (SMAW) Pipe
MIG Welding Aluminum (GMAW) Structural
