Federal Construction Superintendent Job Description We are seeking a highly experienced Federal Construction Superintendent to oversee a complex construction project. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in construction, with at least 5 years as a Superintendent on projects of similar size and complexity. This role requires familiarity with EM 385-1-1 standards, hazard identification, and safety compliance, as well as the ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings. Responsibilities Supervise and manage the construction project at Kings Bay naval base. Ensure adherence to safety standards and compliance with EM 385-1-1. Interpret and manage critical path schedules and construction drawings. Display previous work experience on similar contracts in scope and size. Coordinate with Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) and Quality Control Manager (QCM) who will perform their respective duties. Supervise subcontractors and oversee construction management. Manage the project's progress and ensure its completion within the stipulated timeline. Essential Skills Minimum 10 years of experience in construction. At least 5 years as a Superintendent on similar projects. Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 standards. Experience in hazard identification and safety compliance. Ability to interpret critical path schedules and construction drawings. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in construction supervision and subcontractor management. Active clearance required for the project. Work Environment The role involves on-site management at the Kings Bay naval base for the Trolley Rails project. It requires active clearance and involves collaboration with a team focused on safety and quality management.
