RANDALL OFFSITE CONSTRUCTION specializes in the integration of Completely Prefabricated Bathroom Pods for hotel, dormitory, medical and multi-family ground-up construction projects.
Randall Offsite Construction (Pods) is currently seeking a qualified Plant Fit-out Superintendent to work in our Apopka, FL headquarters and production facility.
Position Summary
Our Plant Fit Out Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the daily operations under the direction of the Operations Manager for Randall Offsite Construction POD Division. This includes directing the workforce/subcontractors in a safe manner. This role ensures the safe and effective assembly of the PODS, monitoring inventory of materials, tracking the installation of interior finishes and goods. Supports team development through leadership and communication.
Experience Required
- 5+ years of experience leading high end multi-trade crews. (Carpentry, Framing, Drywall, Tile, Flooring, Paint, Plumbing, Electrical, Fixtures)
Essential Functions / Qualifications
English as second language preferred
Proven commitment to enforcing and promoting a strong safety culture; ensuring compliance with all OSHA, company, and site-specific safety standards
Proficient with computers
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and Bluebeam
Strong communication skills
Experience reading and interpreting shop drawings
Quality Control experience (Attention to detail) critical
Strong understanding of production workflows and sequencing
Steel Framing Experience (A Must)
Finished Drywall Experience
Plumbing Experience
Electrical Experience
Flooring experience (Vinyl, Tile)
Paint experience
Finish Carpentry Experience
Ability to multitask
Inventory Control Experience
Active Hands-on working style
Can work well under pressure/deadlines
OSHA 10 Certified preferable
Extended hours when required
Physical Requirements
This is primarily a Shop or Field Jobsite job. You must be able to lift a dead weight of at least 50 pounds and stand on your feet for several hours at a time. You must also be able to bend, stretch, crouch, and lift as required by the job, be able to respond quickly to sounds, see and respond to dangerous situations, and properly wear personal protective gear.
