Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and supplies for multiple projects.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, and payment terms with vendors and suppliers.
- Manage purchase orders (POs), track deliveries, and ensure materials arrive on schedule .
- Work closely with project managers, estimators, and job site supervisors to determine purchasing needs.
- Maintain accurate records of purchase transactions, cost analysis, and budget tracking .
- Ensure all purchases comply with company policies, contracts, and construction project requirements .
- Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to reconcile invoices with purchase orders and resolve discrepancies.
- Utilize Sage 300 Construction, Viewpoint Vista, Procore, or similar software to track procurement activity.
