Safety Manager

We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Safety Manager to serve in an owners representative capacity on a major construction or industrial project. This role is responsible for ensuring that all contractors and subcontractors adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific safety protocols. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between contractors, promoting a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all contractors and subcontractors adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
• Serve as a key liaison between contractors, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
• Monitor and enforce compliance with project-specific safety protocols.
• Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety management plans.
• Provide safety training and guidance to contractors and subcontractors.

• Minimum 57 years of site safety experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience in an owners representative or client oversight role is highly preferred.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30/OSHA 500 are a plus.
• Strong background in safety management and compliance.
• Expertise in construction safety and health & safety protocols.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
• Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

This is an onsite position within a large organization, offering the opportunity to work in an owner's capacity on major construction or industrial projects.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $59.00 - $59.00/hr.
