Job Description We are seeking a proactive and experienced Site Safety Manager to serve in an owners representative capacity on a major construction or industrial project. This role is responsible for ensuring that all contractors and subcontractors adhere to safety standards, regulatory requirements, and project-specific safety protocols. The ideal candidate will act as a key liaison between contractors, promoting a culture of safety excellence and continuous improvement. Responsibilities
- Ensure all contractors and subcontractors adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements.
- Serve as a key liaison between contractors, promoting a culture of safety excellence.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with project-specific safety protocols.
- Conduct safety audits and inspections to ensure adherence to safety management plans.
- Provide safety training and guidance to contractors and subcontractors.
- Minimum 57 years of site safety experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
- Experience in an owners representative or client oversight role is highly preferred.
- Professional certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30/OSHA 500 are a plus.
- Strong background in safety management and compliance.
- Expertise in construction safety and health & safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Bachelors degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
