Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Estimator to join our team at Axxess Door Corp., leading provider of automatic door installation services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for projects, ensuring profitability, and maintaining strong relationships with clients and suppliers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Prepare detailed cost estimates for automatic door installation projects, including materials, labor, and equipment.
Review and analyze project plans, specifications, and other documentation to understand scope and requirements.
Collaborate with sales, project managers, and suppliers to gather necessary information for estimates.
Identify potential cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality or safety.
Maintain and update a database of material costs, labor rates, and other estimating metrics.
Participate in bid meetings and provide support during the proposal process.
Ensure all estimates comply with company standards and industry regulations.

REQUIREMENTS:
Proven experience as an Estimator, preferably in the construction, door installation, or related industry.
Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs.
Proficiency in estimating software (Service Titan).
Excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Reliable attendance and punctuality are mandatory.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience in the automatic door or access control industry.
Familiarity with building codes and regulations related to door installations.
Certification in construction estimating or a related field is a plus.
