Our client, a leading energy company Houston, is seeking an IT Infrastructure Architect to join their team.**

As an IT Infrastructure Architect, you will be part of the IT Infrastructure team supporting enterprise operations. The ideal candidate will have strong **technical expertise, project leadership, and problem-solving skills** , which will align successfully with the organizations high-performance IT environment.

**Job Title:** IT Infrastructure Architect

**Location:** Houston, TX- 77002

**Role:** Contract- Onsite- w2 role

**Whats the Job?**

+ Develop and implement long-term IT infrastructure strategies aligned with business goals.

+ Architect and oversee cloud solutions including Azure (Functions, API Management, Storage, Key Vault, VNets, App Gateway, NSGs, Data Lake) and AWS.

+ Design, configure, and maintain infrastructure components (Windows/Linux servers, virtualized environments, SaaS solutions like D365 Finance).

+ Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies in compliance with SLAs.

+ Lead and manage infrastructure projects from planning to execution.

**Whats Needed?**

+ Bachelors degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.

+ 6+ years of experience in IT infrastructure design, development, and support in mission-critical environments.

+ 3+ years of project leadership in infrastructure or application projects.

+ Strong expertise with enterprise storage solutions (SAN, NetApp, cloud storage).

+ Advanced troubleshooting skills for applications, networks, and databases.
