Sheet Metal Technician

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Journeyman Sheet Metal Technicians for projects located in the Fairfield, CT area . This is a first shift opportunity with a pay rate up to $45/hr based on experience and skill level. If you are a Sheet Metal Journeyman and want to work alongside other proven craftsmen who emphasize safety, productivity, and superior craftsmanship, this is your chance to advance your career!

Job Scope:

• Measure, cut, and bend sheet metal to required sizes and angles

• Label and prepare components for installation

• Install various types of ductwork (rectangular, round, flexible)

• Secure ducts using appropriate supports, hangers, and fasteners

• Install related components such as dampers, insulation, diffusers, and registers

• sealing, testing, and balancing tasks as required to ensure proper system performance

Requirements:

• Must be able to read blueprints

• CT Sheetmetal License SM 2 License
